I don’t usually read screen plays/ scripts but this was so wonderful! Reading it right after the movie was amazing and I loved being able to pick up on things I didn’t pick up on in the movie, like Grindlewald was actually in the opening scene before the newspaper montage? I completely missed that watching the movie I was to hyped that the ads had finished and I may have, maybe been shoving my face full of popcorn…I’m not sorry.

Things I loved

I LOVE the illustrations of all the beasts as the chapter (are they called chapters?) headings and the absolutely beautiful cover and binding.

Newt is probably one of my all time favourite character from JK Rowling now, reading about him warming up to Jacob when Jacob starts interacting with all the animals in the first suitcase visit just had me grinning and so happy. Also all his little moments with Tina are awkward and adorable!

All the beasts are described fantastically and yay for me now semi remembering their names.28f14b2a2dbbd435d6e7e08f0866f375.gif

If you loved the movie and you’re thinking about picking this up as well, go for it! If anything it made me love Newt and all the characters even more. Especially Niffler the little kleptomaniac.

I just absolutely LOVED the movie, I thought it was hilarious and awesome, Newts awkwardness and love for animals is so precious and Jacob and his muggle *cough* no maj misteps had me laughing so much, when he drank the giggle water I could help laughing and loving him instantly, so suave XD

My Fave creature was the Niffler I mean how could it not be, 1. he’s so sassy and silly and 2. He’s based off a platypus which is a strange australian animal that even we look at with confusion, I mean platypus’s are awesome but such strange-looking duck fish. My fave scene is definitely entering Newts case and meeting all the animals for the first time.  

 

 

P.S If you don’t know JK has re vamped her website and answered a few questions like why Next can’t just apperate from England to America and Why Harry didn’t develop an obscurous, yay for extra info.

  1. I put this book on my wishlist immediately after seeing the movie over Thanksgiving time. Thankfully Santa left it for me under my tree 🙂 I am so excited to re-live the movie in the script…. that should tide me over until the movie comes out on DVD. Definitely a new favorite.

    1. I can’t wait for the movie to hurry up and come out on DVD I want to re watch it so badly 😀 The Script is so good and it really is like reliving the movie so lucky Santa is the best gift giver 😀
      I hope you love it, it’s a quick read being a scripts as well so it’s great when your between books 😀

  4. OMG LOVED THIS FILM! I still have Fantastic Beasts sitting on y book shelf just waiting to be read. It’s on the very top of my TBR pile so hopefully I’ll get around to reading it soon. Jacob and Queenie were so cute ^_^ But don’t worry i was the same – I totally missed the foreshadowing in the opening scenes. It’s a movie that needs to be seen countless of times!

  8. We got to go watch this movie for school last year and I loved it so much! I haven’t read the whole HP series (I KNOW! I will fix it soon!) so I was scared to watch this one but it was so interesting and cool and amazing and I loved it so much! So happy to see you enjoyed it too! 🙂

  9. Great post 😉 I love it when people fangirl over things they love! Newt is adorable 😉 Though I saw the movie twice when it was in cinemas, I am yet to pick up the screenplay, though I’ll definitely do so before the sequel comes out. Interesting, I had no idea that Grindlewald was in the opening scene! I only knew most of the newspaper articles were about him.

    1. Newt is just such a sweetie I love the way he cares and treats his creatures 🙂 I just watched the movie again and I love it so much. The Screen play is really good I hope you like it! I’m hoping they do a screen play for the next movie I loved reading it right after seeing the film and being able to remember all the little details 🙂
