Oh oh I’m so excited to do this one! Thank you icebreaker694 for tagging me.
Here are the rules:
Randomly choose three books (Tip: Use the “Sort > Random” option on your Goodreads read shelf).
For each group, decide which book to burn, which one to rewrite, and which to reread (a lot like Kiss, Marry, Kill). Repeat until you complete three rounds (or five)
Round 1: I got Insurgent by Veronica Roth, Paper towns by John Green and Dark Places by Gillian Flynn.
Dark places was good but I didn’t enjoy it as much as Gone Girl so I will burn this one.
Middle book syndrome at it’s finest.
I love John Green, his characters are always my favorites and I loved going on an adventure with Miss Margo Roth Spiegelman.
Round 2: I got The Book Thief By Markus Zusak, Scarlet by Marrisa Meyer and Enders Game by Orson Scott Card.
Bye bye Enders Game, I really didn’t enjoy this book so this was an easy choce, if you’d like to see my review its on goodreads < here. I will not be shedding any tears at this bon fire.
This one was really hard but I’m going to have to go with Scarlet ONLY because I love the writing in the Book Thief more, maybe we can just rewrite 1 sentence so this amazing book stays the way it is.
This leaves me Re-reading The Book Thief which I will gladly do 😀
Round 3: Red Queen By Victoria Aveyard, Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn and The Help by Kathryn Stockett.
Sorry Red Queen but your being Burnt! I liked you a lot but your sequel really bothered me so I feel like I can burn you while feeling next to no regret.
This book was Funny and meaningful and the only reason its in rewrite is that I read it years ago and can’t remember it that well.
I love you Gone Girl. I read this with no hype or knowledge or Gillian Flynn and she amazed the hell out of me with the intricate characters and fantastic twist and turns, this was like a rolla-coaster ride in the dark, absolutely amazing but scared about where we are heading next.
Now for my ultimate plot twist I tag all you guys to do this and imaginary kill off your books! *Muhahahahaha. As much as I hate hating books this tag was pretty fun, so if you’d like to give it a go do it 🙂 Link me to your posts if you’ve already done this one I’d love to check out what books you had to Burn 🙂
Have a great day people!
I loved The Book Thief. I definitely want to reread that one as well!

I didn’t like it when I first picked it up! I read Deaths first paragraph describing things as colors and was just like “nope this is to much for me atm” I left it to when I was able to focus on the writing and story line and I’m so glad I did because it’s a beautiful story that is so well written.

I absolutely adored Gone Girl right until the very end, which actually kind of ruined it for me. I really want to reread it, but I was just really disappointed by the ending and it’s putting me off. What did you think of it?
I’ve tagged you in the YA Frenzy Tag (which I think is by the same person who did this one). Have fun!

I loved it, I loved the surprise and the pure grittiness of the characters and plot line but yeah the ending could of been done so much better or we should of gotten an epilogue, then again it was something the characters would do I mean Nick was a huge push over and didn’t really have much of a spine so I guess in that way it made sense for him to do what he did.
(I hope you understand what I mean by this I wish we could write and hide spoilers like we can on goodreads! its so frustrating trying to complain about an ending without saying to much! haha)
Thank you for the tag I was tagged in the original post by Icebreaker so I have already done this one but will definitely check yours out 🙂

I don’t know, something about Nick’s revelation at the end felt a little forced to me. I’d go further into it, but, as you say, spoilers! I might have to give it another read and see if it fits any better. It’d be worth it for the rest of the story anyway – I read it really quickly and had to by physically dragged away from it it was that gripping.
Sorry! I should really check these things before I tag…
