Hello neglected blog I did miss you even if I have procrastinated and avoided writing for 3 months now D:

 

Quick update on my stress levels

HIGH 

Basically I swapped jobs and started retail again – dear jebus save me from people, luckily I have the sub reddit TalesfromRetail to keep me alive and thankful I’m not the only one suffering from too many humans. Retail hours and getting into the swing of working weekends again has drained me a little.

Also i have to move houses and packing my books was the saddest I’ll be posting a unhaul/updated TBR post soon. Not only do I have to find a new rental I’m starting to make decisions on our house build and of course everything has to happen 2 months before the end of the year, I’m excited just to have this all done and dusted and ready to relax for a little bit soon.

I probably shouldn’t be blogging just yet but I miss it and feel like I can atleast do an update post to help save my blog.

NOW what I’ve been reading! Wow June was my last post and April was my last reading wrap up so I’m just going to leave this here and highlight my best and worst reads.

Faves definitely have to be the Crazy Rich Asians trilogy by Kevin Kwan and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo.

Shoutout to books that made me feel all the things: Only Human, Republic of Thieves and The Poppy War.

Opposite of a shoutout goes the A Simple Favour, Nil, and The Chalk Man which ranged from infuriatingly boring to please dear god make this book stop(I’m looking at you A Simple Favor who sucked me in because I love Anna Kendrick and was excited to see the adaptation before reading the book full of mundane)

It’s spooktober and I’m sad I didn’t participate in any of the cool photo challenges or read-a-thons instead I binge read the /nosleep thread about the Infected town and watched all of The Haunting of Hill House and it made me cry from fear and sadness MULTIPLE times.

I’m currently catching up on all the series mainly Strange The Dreamer which i just reread on audio and I’m starting Muse. I didn’t even realise the final Throne of Glass was released SO whoops I’ll be starting Tower of Dawn asap and I have books like A Ladies Guide to Petticoats and Piracy and Vengeful by V.E Schwab to read as well.
