Hello new awesome Fantasy series!

I only have two words Character Development.

The beginning of this book is slow but it needed to be, there is a huge build up. We spend a lot of time spend with seemingly “annoying” characters but as the plots intertwine and the climax builds, the characters grow and turn into strong real characters that had me loving each of there POV’s although Cleo is my favorite out of the 3.

The ending was fantastic and I didn’t predict any of the plot properly, everything kept coming from places I couldn’t guess and I loved it.

These characters are all so different and individual with all multiple POV stories I had my favorites mainly Cleo and I found myself skimming the others to get back to her quicker.

The magic Morgan has created in this world is simple and interesting and the fight for power is consuming and page turning.

I can see this series fast becoming a favorite and I am so glad I have the next book to start right away!
