Percy Jackson isn’t expecting freshman orientation to be any fun. But when a mysterious mortal acquaintance appears at his potential new school, followed by demon cheerleaders, things quickly move from bad to worse.
In this fourth installment of the blockbuster series, time is running out as war between the Olympians and the evil Titan lord Kronos draws near. Even the safe haven of Camp Half-Blood grows more vulnerable by the minute as Kronos’s army prepares to invade its once impenetrable borders. To stop the invasion, Percy and his demigod friends must set out on a quest through the Labyrinth – a sprawling underground world with stunning surprises at every turn.
The Battle of the Labyrinth was by far my favourite adventure in this series so far, seriously an epic underplay battle with all my faves: Percy, Annabeth, Grover, and Tyson my darling cyclops.
Annabeth is finally quested to go into the labyrinth and find the master to learn how to travel quickly and stop Kronos from taking control of the Labyrinth.
The main thing I loved about this book was Annabeth although I did yell at her a few times. Annabeth is strong, clever and resourceful. Also she is so full of brains and smart assary she can rival Percy at times. I mean she was given riddles and complained they were to easy! GIRL just go with it XD.
Again there is so much adventure and fun I mean cheerleaders being demon vampires and eating people? Why is this not in every book ever. Percy’s character has a lot of growth and runs into a lot of girl problems but what I really loved wasthe growth in the minor characters like Clarise who was a bully and still kind of is. The minor characters never feel like filler, they always are well explained and we know a bit about everyone’s backstory.
Another one of my characters that went missing is bad and I love him so much! Nico is the son of Hades and I feel so much for him and just want him to find some peace and happiness, I hope we get good endings for the rest all of these characters. Bring on the last book.
Annabeth was always my favorite character!

Annabeth is also my favourite character!! I relate to her so much, with her brains and studious nature. If I were a half blood I’d definitely be one of Athena’s

Annabeth is just perfect, she’s smart, strong, and a great leader. I think I’d like to be one of the Athena’s as well but I don’t actually like Athena so I’d probably turn out evil XD

So glad you liked this book! It’s m favourite of the series. I love the modern version of the Labyrinth, it was so cool!! My favourite character is Percy – I love that kid. He’s as obtuse as Harry Potter lol but Annabeth is my second fave 😀

Me too! The labyrinth was such a cool setting I think my fave part was the man eating horses and Annabeth complaining the riddles weren’t right or hard XD
He reminds me a little of Harry as well especially with the rash decisions. Just like Hermione is my fave I couldn’t help but love Annabeth I just have a huge soft spot for these characters.
