The Booktubeathon is a week long readathon from the 24th of July to the 30th, the challenges are above if you’ like to join in. I tried to match my current TBR as much as I could so I can stay on track.
A Book With A Person On The Cover : The Philosopher Kings by Jo Walton
Kirtsie from Upside Down Books is finally back in the upside down land and we’re buddy reading this together! We read the first book The Just City last year and it was just so good. The themes, the action, the ideas it holds are all amazing and I can’t wait to dive into Philosopher Kings.
A Hyped book: A Closed and Common Orbit by Becky Chambers
Okay so the first book, A long way to a small angry planet is probably hyped more than this one but it still counts, or at least I’m counting it. I loved the first book and I actually read the first couple chapters of this and can’t wait to get back into it.
Start And Finish A Book In One Day: Stardust by Neil Gaiman
So um, I’ve made a grave mistake. From the start of this year I decided I would make a huge effort to read all the books I already own, so you know what I did? I read all the little ones xD Yep past Casey has left me with a pile of 500-1300+page books and it is feeling a bit intense. Luckily I got this baby which is only 244 pages.
Read A Character Very Different From ME: Finding Nevo by Nevo Zisin
Finding Nevo is an autobiography about gender, sex, faith, feminism, culture. Everyone I know has loved this book so I can’t wait to read Nevo’s story.
Read A Book Completely Outside: IT’S TO COLD.
No, that’s not the name of a book, I mean I’m sure it’s the name of some book but yeah… xD. I may get a new audio or just continue my re read of gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue (which is amazing read it right now). But it’d Winter here in aus and I want to spend all my time warm and cosy in my house.
A Book You Bought Because Of The Cover: The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle
So I didn’t just buy this for the cover, it was also $3 at the op shop! Plus Sherlock Holmes is definitely a must read for any mystery lover so here we are.
Read 7 Books: So probably not?
BUT if I do manage to read 6 books or even if I want a wild card I’m going to go with Our Dark Duet. VE Schwab is one of my all time favourite authors and although reading two finales in one year is going to break me (I’m still broken from ACOL) I can’t wait to jump back into a world of hers.
Now I know I usually lie to everyone with my to be read posts and this time is going to be no different xD I swear I would love to read all of these and I am definitely reading SOME but 7 days for 7 books? It’s not happening. I’ll be happy if I get 3 books finished.

Awesome TBR, honestly. I’d participate but I think it’d just stress me out and slump me; I’m at that point where I’m feeling overwhelmed ahaha! Good luck!!!

Ha it’s probably going to do the same to me XD A few of these books are on my TBR anyways so it crossed over pretty well, hopefully I don’t get overwhelmed and end up reading nothing! Now to try and get my fantasy book read before the 24th!

The sherlock Holmes …lol I bought my copy because of the cover too 😍😍And that’s a version of ‘our dark duet ‘ I haven’t seen . Isn’t the cover all bluish ? (That’s what I have )

It’s the UK paperback so I don’t think it’s different from anyone else xD I’ve had this Sherlock on my shelf for SO long. I recently read a Sherlock retelling and loved it so thought why not actually read the real thing 😀

I just posted my overly ambitious TBR for this on Twitter. Totally feel you on the Read a Book Outside challenge. Although, it’s not overly cold here. I’m still not going outside 😂😂 I really need to read This Savage Song!!

I saw your TBR! Yay for you being able to combine a fair few XD I hope I can get through most of these and I may be a bit of a winge but yah I do not like the cold. Have you read adsom? TSS is my least fave of VE’s but shes so amazing it’s still good? I hope that makes some type of sense!

I’m doing Booktubeathon as well! Luckily, I left the cold south and now I’m up in Queensland so I might actually be able to do the ‘read a book outside’ challenge 😀 I found Stardust quite quick to read (though it was a while ago), hopefully you’re able to finish it! Good luck!

I can’t wait to do the Booktube-A-Thon!!! 😀 I know right now that I’m not going to be able to read all 7 books, but I’m going to try my best to complete the other challenges. I’m hoping to go to the library this week and scour the shelves for some good readathon picks!

SAME! If I read 4 I’ll be pumped so I’m not going to stress to much about getting 7 finished it seems a bit impossible with my current reading speed xD
I haven’t been to the library in so long (I’m trying to get all my owned books read) I really need to cave and go borrow all the books. Hope you find some great ones!

GOOD LUCK CASEY! I wanted to do this but I thought it’d be a little too stressful especially since I’m such an overachiever that needs to complete the challenge, even if it kills me! So instead I’m doing the biannual bibliothon which was a little more chill! Thanks for sharing ❤
