Oh River Moose Books how I love you and all the fantastic Tags you hunt down and tag me in, even if I am extremely slow to do them!
What support do you use to read your e-books? An e-reader, a tablet, or the PC?
I have an ipad but I usually just use my iphone, I have a 6sPlus for the larger screen specifically to make reading easier. ALSO I can read ebooks while I walk places and people just think I’m the chick always on her phone occasionally bumping into signage, not the chick with the book. ALTHOUGH I have been known to do that too… my neighbours are pretty tolerant of me tbh.
How many e-books have you read since you started the new “digital fashion”?
oh wow you’re going to make me count! Gah hang I’ll see if my phone just tells me. Okay I have 244 ibooks and like 50+? Kindles… I did all my reading digitally for ages because 1. Cheaper and 2. I had no bookshelf space in my old house, iphones are pretty compact.
What is the language of your ebooks?
I only have one book in French which is The Little Prince and the rest are in English.
Buy them or take advantage of free promotions and books?
I BUY THEM and you want to know why, I’ll tell you why. Everytime I go to get a $2 book promo ITS NEVER AVAILABLE FOR AUSSIES *scowls forever*.
Do you enjoy reading classics or new authors?
New Authors, I have a lot of classics and have read a decent number of the main ones but I’ll always pick up more new authors.
How many e-books do you have?
Repeat answer above^ I don’t buy ebooks that I’m not going to start immediately the only ebooks I have that aren’t read as soon as I download are Netgalley review copies. I think I have about 6 of them at the moment.
What is your biggest supplier of ebooks?
ibooks definitely but I compare to amazon, most of the time they’re the same price and I go with ibooks but I’ll choose whatever’s cheaper.
Did you completely adhere to the Digital Reading or do you still live in the Age of the Physical Book?
I do both, I love digital reading and don’t really have a hang up over “but you can’t feel the pages” ESP for big books, man I read “IT” in the physical edition and that book nearly broke my wrist it’s so big.
This Tag was a heap of fun and I’d love to know about others thoughts on e-readers and what your habits are! I’m making a special mention of Kai over at Black Cat Kai because her kindle addiction is amazing and a little overwhelming, everyone needs to know about it XD
Also tagging these peeps:
Do you read ebooks? I did not know I had as many as I do?! Man books stack up fast in whatever form, I’m sure it’s some type of magic.
Do you read a walk and occasionally fall over? I swear I’m not that much of a hazard I can usually glance up occasionally and check I am not walking in the wrong direction.
Interesting tag! Thanks so much for tagging me!
