In the dark, filthy salt mines of Endovier, an eighteen-year-old girl is serving a life sentence. She is a trained assassin, the best of her kind, but she made a fatal mistake: she got caught.
Young Captain Westfall offers her a deal: her freedom in return for one huge sacrifice. Celaena must represent the prince in a to-the-death tournament—fighting the most gifted thieves and assassins in the land. Live or die, Celaena will be free. Win or lose, she is about to discover her true destiny. But will her assassin’s heart be melted?
Wyrd above and gods help me it’s my favorite MC and kick ass series! I am re-reading these beauties! I was in a bit of a slump and then I seen the title release for Throne of Glass 5 *DUN DUN DUUUUN*
EMPIRE OF STORMS
I was so excited for the title I decided to re-read Throne of Glass and Crown of Midnight and they were just as amazing!
This story! These characters! All time favorite books. I can read and re read this series over and over! Celaena is amazing, she develops so much, she has a smart mouth and self centered ways but it wouldn’t be the same with out her attitude and cockiness, you go girl!
“A line that should never be crossed is about to be breached.
It puts this entire castle in jeopardy—and the life of your friend.”
From the throne of glass rules a king with a fist of iron and a soul as black as pitch. Assassin Celaena Sardothien won a brutal contest to become his Champion. Yet Celaena is far from loyal to the crown. She hides her secret vigilantly; she knows that the man she serves is bent on evil.
Keeping up the deadly charade becomes increasingly difficult when Celaena realizes she is not the only one seeking justice. As she tries to untangle the mysteries buried deep within the glass castle, her closest relationships suffer. It seems no one is above questioning her allegiances—not the Crown Prince Dorian; not Chaol, the Captain of the Guard; not even her best friend, Nehemia, a foreign princess with a rebel heart.
This is how you do a second book!
I’m looking at you Insurgent and Glass Sword!
It’s amazing read it, I’m not going to say anything as I can’t because 1. Feels and 2. spoilers.
Go enjoy! This is just an amazing book and I love it more then anything! Even the 3rd? maybe 4th time around, Wyrd help me I’ve read this series ALOT and it’s not even finished!
Onto The Assassin’s Blade (again)!
BTW if you haven’t read the novella but love the books please please go read the novella it’s one of my favorite and has so much back story!
5 out of 5 stars***** 100%!
My feels for Celaena:
Me waiting for Empire of storms like:
Note to self: If I ever build a time machine I will come back to this day 16/3/2016 2.25 pm and go into the future to buy a FINISHED series of TOG maybe Six of crows #2 as well. I’ll stop now, if I keep going we’ll be here all day discussing books I am going to have less time to build my Time Machine.
Question: If you could come in my time machine which is a Delorean for obvious reasons what book would you get OR what book would you stop from being published?
