When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn’t think it’s love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.
Never ask about the past. Don’t expect a future.
This story was fantastic. Tate and Miles where dynamic and had sparks flying every which way. I loved the duel POV and how she set it in past and present time lines.
I loved the older ages, Tate is 23 and working as a Nurse while studying to further her nursing qualifications and Miles is a pilot working with her Brothers airline.
If you love Colleen Hoover or just a steamy heart wrenching romance go pick up Ugly Love. Favorite quote:
“Ugly love becomes you. Consumes you. Makes you hate it all. Makes you realize that all the beautiful parts aren’t even worth it. Without the beautiful, you’ll never risk feeling the ugly. So you give it all up. You give it all up. You never want love again, no matter what kind it is, because no type of love will ever be worth living through the ugly love again.”
This quote sums up love for me in a perfect way, no its not all love and sunshine but having the Ugly makes the beautiful all the more special, this can also be said in life.
Without your worst experiences where would you be today? I know I wouldn’t of striven to be what I am without the bad thrown in. Just know when everything looks to be it’s worst the only way from there is up.
4.9 out of 5 stars!
Now introducing you to my favorites Anna Kendrick and Mila Kunis who will be sharing my book feels for you all to see!
I loved the ending it’s everything a reader can ask for! If you’d like to see some more of my thoughts and a spoilery section you can check out my Goodreads review.
Also this is being turned into a Movie!
I watched the movie trailer and book trailer, is it just me or should they have used the book trailer for the Movie? The Movie trailer felt like another 50 shades of gray and okay there is a few sex scenes but this is about so much more then that, also what was up with the flight attendant and why are they showing her so much?
Have you read this or any of CoHo’s books? I’m not sure what to start of hers next. I’d love to see what you guys thought of this, let me know!
Happy Humpday guys!
