Okay so I wasn’t expecting that. WHAT IN THE HELL IS THIS SERIES DOING TO MY HEART SERIOUSLY GUYS I FEEL LIKE IM IN MY TEENS AND LOVING VAMPIRES PHASE AND I LOVE IT.
Whew okay so this story was fantastic I could not put the book down, but I did have a few things that really annoyed me.

 

Humans have started working with the Stigori and that’s sending the whole Vampire world into chaos why wasn’t there ever a safety contingency in place in case this happens I mean seriously? and what do you do when your safe place is in danger? Move everyone to a million dollar ski lodge resort maybe that’s why there was no real safety plan umm hello can we have this happen more often because this place sounded amazing and I’d like to go to *nods enthusiastically* 

The whole second half is so fast paced and crazy, I was just turning pages at a rapid speed trying to know what happens next already, just wow. It completely blew me away. The setting at the ski lodge was perfect, We got to see more of Rose’s friends and Mason is a little sweety that I just want to cuddle and keep safe forever, I love his crush and how fun he is.

Rose:

– Was bitchier then before (Don’t get me wrong I like her bitchiness at times but sometimes I just wanted to hit her with a 1000 page book Even though I would probably have my nose broken in the process

– THE JEALOUSY: Ahhh it got on my nerves so much and I just wanted all the characters to realise they we’re being petty and be friends.
– Fierceness: did someone call for a badass over her? WOW Rose is every bit her mother (in the good ways) YES GIRL you be a ninja and look good while doing it.
– Loyal: Rose and Dimitri’s feeling are still there but she’s so loyal to Lissa and I love that. I do also wish she would have opened up a bit more to her She can take it Rose! you can talk to her that’s what bestfriends are for!

Christian:

I love Christian now and he’s one of my favorites, his relationship with Lissa is amazing and he’s handling his past really well, also fire magic and did I mention HE HS FIRE AND ITS COMPLETELY AWESOME

Dimitri:

I like Dimitri and Rose as a couple I really do, BUT (and there is always a bit) I felt he was handling things just as badly as Rose was and he should have know better being older and more mature.

Andrian:

And in walks the infamous Adrian I’ve been hearing about and…. I loved him, I loved his weirdness, his flirtiness, his cockiness. I thought he was a great character to throw into the mix.

“ Perfume can be good…especially if you get one that goes with your chemistry. But you only need a hint. Mix about 20 percent of that with 80 percent of your own perspiration…mmm.” He tilted his head to the side and looked at me. “Dead sexy.”

Sweat in perfume? Oh Adrian honey what a great pick up line *rolls eyes endearingly*

Seriously why oh why did I spend my teens re-reading Twilight when this series was out there just waiting for me?
