FAVORITE BOOK SO FAR, I am sorry but I’m so invested in this series right now and I just can’t look away from these pages.

*Apologies in advance I am barely restraining my self from just mushing my hands over the keyboard* OADJNCVWROQCWEOFJEWINCPWMEIMFBYQP *okay now that’s out of me, lets see if I can actually form sentences yet*

thoughts-on-va
This book just took the series to a whole other level for me, Rose is starting her training as a Guardian and has to shadow a Maori for the next 6 weeks and defeat other Guardians posing as Stigori.
All is well, she’ll get to hang and protect Lissa for the next 6 weeks? Easy, right?…

If you’ve read this far in the series you KNOW all that could go wrong does. Rose is starting to feel the effects from being Shadow Kissed and it’s impacting her whole future. Her biggest exam, Her most important task in school and her head is starting to betray her, causing her to slip up and make mistake that could change her a Lissa’s plans for ever.

characters

Rose and Christians relationship really grows in this book and although their personalities clash I love that they both bond over Lissa and of course what happened to them in the last book.

Rose is going through some major craziness, Lissa’s off her meds and using Spirit with Adrian, Adrian is generally causing trouble with Rose and visiting her in her dreams. I LOVE the dream visits with Adrian he’s so crazy sometimes and I love that! why do I always like the unstable ones?

“He stepped back and threw his arms out.
“I’m always crazy around you Rose. Here, I’m going to write an impromptu poem for you.”
He tipped his head back and shouted to the sky:
“Rose is in red
But never in blue
Sharp as a thorn
Fights like one too.”

No spoilers I promise but I seriously just need to get this out here:

The fight seen at the end! YES, so good!raw.gif

The end scene though! I was so sad, screaming, confused, amazed. I mean there is so many different ways we can move from here and so many ways Richelle can maneuver the plot. I’m shocked, I’m excited, I can’t wait for the next book!

      1. Haha I’m glad you liked them! You should definitely check out the Bloodlines series sometime. It’s not as good as VA (in my opinion) but more Adrian is never a bad idea! 😀
